Usain Bolt Takes Time Off From Normal Training Regiment to Win Gold in 100 m

Usain Bolt took some time off from his grueling Bobsled training regiment to compete in this years Olympic games. This weekend Bolt won Gold in the 100 m in a record breaking time of 9.69. "I'm glad i sacrificed practice time, but I am hoping that it doesn't cost me in the winter games" said Bolt. Bolt was apart of the first Jamaican Bobsled team when they won their championship in 1992. His team hopes to repeat that performance in the upcoming games.

When interviewed after his historic run on Friday Bolt said "I wish that my old friend John Candy was there to witness this. He was instrumental in my quest for winter gold in 1992."

Bolt pulled up 20 meters from the finish line while pumping his fist on his chest. An obvious sign to his countrymen back home that he did what he set out to do. Analysts believe
Bolt could have run in the 9.5s if he did not pull up at the end. When interviewed Bolt said that he was not sure if he could beat 9.5 and that he would need to look at the tape. For now Bolt said he is going to go back home with a gold in hand and the Winter Olympics on his mind.

Meanwhile Tyson Gay failed to qualify for the men's 100m. When interviewed Tyson said, "the gay chants really started to get to me, they psyched me out". Gay of course referring to the 90,000 fans chanting "lets go Gay", "oh gay, oh gay oh gay oh gay" and "you're a fag". The Chinese have been known to be intolerant of Tyson Gays.
